Key Responsibilities:
Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, equipment, and fixtures to ensure a safe electrical environment.
Troubleshoot and fix issues with electrical systems, including lighting, power systems, and emergency electrical equipment.
Conduct regular inspections and maintenance tasks to prevent electrical failures and ensure compliance with safety standards.
Collaborate with other technical staff on board to coordinate maintenance and repair activities.
Document all maintenance and repair work for electrical systems, maintaining detailed logs of work performed and parts used.
Follow safety regulations and standards strictly to ensure the safety of all on board.
Participate in safety drills and contribute to the overall safety practices of the vessel.
Qualifications:
Certified Electrician with a diploma or equivalent technical training.
Proven experience as an electrician, preferably in a maritime or similar industrial environment.
In-depth knowledge of electrical systems and high-voltage electrical equipment.
Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams and blueprints.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
Fluency in English, both verbal and written.

Vessel will be finishing their summer season in the Med before starting a 7 month shipyard period with some major engineering modifications/upgrades scheduled. After the shipyard the vessel will continue with her proven worldwide itinerary.
The ideal candidate will have their Y3 or be close to obtaining along with an electrical background, sailing experience would be advantageous. Ideally looking for someone who is wanting to commit long term to the program. The vessel has great longevity onboard across their 15 crew.
Great salary on offer with 3.5 days leave accrued per month.

Responsibilities on deck are standard deck maintenance & underway watches. The yachts new Scubapro dive equipment will also be the deckhand/dive masters responsibility.
The ideal candidate will ideally have at least 1 season of experience on a 40m+ vessel as deckhand and a strong background in diving. Dive Master qualification minimum.
