As part of our dynamic team, you’ll play a vital role in maintaining and operating our vessel’s machinery and systems.
Main Function:
– Maintains assigned systems as per plan maintenance system and company regulations.
– Is in charge of the operation, maintenance, and repairs of the machinery assigned to his watch.
– Ensure that assigned logs are completed on a daily basis.
– Responsible for the cleanliness and “housekeeping” of all assigned equipment, areas, and spaces.
– Ensure the spare parts inventory for assigned areas is up to date.
– If conditions occur that can threaten the safety or operation of the vessel, the Chief Engineer must be promptly notified.
– Assist the Electrical Department with the upkeep of Automation for assigned equipment.
– Ensure that the assigned crew understands assigned tasks.
– Other duties as assigned by the Staff Chief Engineer.

Ideal candidate must have their CM 3000 CoC, Cayman Island CEC, experience with Transas ECDIS and have good experience on vessels over 55m in a Chief Officer role.
This is a great boat with a down to earth and friendly crew. You will be joining them in Florida and then heading to Antigua around the 13th December. Owners trip from the 27th of December until the 4th of Jan and a possible charter as well.
