On 23 December 2025 the cruise company Royal Caribbean International will open its latest destination: the Royal Beach Club Paradise Island. Located on Paradise Island, Nassau, Bahamas, this new facility spans 17 acres and offers an all-inclusive beach-day experience for guests on Royal Caribbean cruises. With two beaches, three pools, custom ferries, cabanas, and Bahamian-inspired design, the new club blends resort-style amenities with cruise-line access. It’s the cruise line’s first dedicated “beach club” under its Royal Beach Club Collection, and cruise advisors and passengers alike are counting down
Royal Caribbean’s Royal Beach Club Paradise Island: what to expect
When you step off your ship in Nassau and travel to the Royal Beach Club Paradise Island, you’ll cross the harbour on a purpose-built ferry made for the experience. The club features two beaches (Family Beach and Chill Beach), three main pools, and the crown piece: The Floating Flamingo, claimed to be the world’s largest swim-up bar. Food and drink, loungers, beach games, and live Bahamian culture shape the day.
Zones and atmosphere
Visitors can pick their vibe:
- Chill Beach: calm oceanfront, cabanas, sun loungers, relaxed music.
- Family Beach: zero-entry pool (“The Shallow End”), kid-friendly games, family cabanas, and shade.
- Party Cove: more energetic zone, swim-up bar, DJ, music and adult-focused atmosphere.
Custom ferries glide you from the Nassau cruise ship dock to the beach club in minutes. Royal Caribbean announced five colour-themed ferries: for example, “Flirty Flamingo” (pink) and “Twisted Turtle” (green).
All-inclusive stays and pricing
The beach club uses day-passes and cabana bookings. The pass includes round-trip ferry, unlimited food and drink (depending on the package), beach lounges, WiFi, lockers and access to all pools. According to guest-advisory sites, early pricing estimates for children aged 4-12 start near US $109.99, with adult passes around US $129.99—but that depends on date and cruise.
Cabanas cost more and offer premium seating, shaded up-front positions, perhaps attendant service and family-sized options. Royal Caribbean notes that capacity stays limited, and book early.
Itinerary and access
The club links directly with Royal Caribbean’s Nassau calls. Guests sailing on a Royal Caribbean ship that docks at Nassau can book the beach club day via the cruise line’s excursion platform. Early calls on ships such as Utopia of the Seas and Radiance of the Seas will be flagged to include the new beach club from December 23, 2025.
RoyalCaribbean.com lists the club under “Beach Club Luxury: Why a VIP Upgrade at Paradise Island.” Booking opens for guests on sailings that include Nassau late December.
Culture, design and local input
What sets this apart: the club integrates Bahamian culture. Royal Caribbean launched an Artist Discovery Program that brought 11 Bahamian artists to create murals, sculptures and large-scale installations on-site. The partnership intends to blend local heritage with cruise-style amenities.
Conditions and caveats
Even though Royal Beach Club Paradise Island seems ready, some previews have been cancelled. In late November 2025 cruise-news sites reported that Royal Caribbean cancelled at least one invitation-only preview visit scheduled for December 15, 2025, because construction remained ongoing. The official opening date of December 23 remains unchanged.
RoyalCaribbean’s FAQ page states that day-pass packages and cabanas are open for booking now, but guests sailing before the opening date won’t have access to the club.
Capacity limits mean day-pass booking is strongly recommended. The cruise line emphasises this is a “pay to enter” club, separate from their private island model. Guests not booked may be turned away if spaces fill up.
