This role is best suited to a candidate with both bridge and deck experience, looking to develop within a structured deck team of 10. The successful candidate will be proactive, safety-focused and eager to grow within a high-performing programme.

2nd Officer (OOW 3000) – 70m+ M/Y World Cruising – Start Date end of April – Joining in the Southern Hemisphere.
Open to both Male / Female candidates, salary is negotiable based on skills and experience, with 90 days leave.
Ideally you will have five plus years’ experience in the industry and would suit a newly qualified OOW looking to gain sea time, as well as learn from two strong Chief Officers.
The bridge team have an ethos of mentoring and will task you with reviewing Risk Assessments, SOPs, implementing SMS and you will be involved in Safey Meetings.
The yacht is currently cruising the French Polynesia and will be heading off to SE Asia next year continuing its world cruising program.
Also, the crew do like to stay active with running, surfing, and hiking, so you must be a definite non-smoker / vaper.
Qualification: OOW 3000, STCW, PDSD, ENG1 and prior experience with IDEA would be a bonus.
