USS George H.W. Bush (CVN 77) disabled two unladen tankers

Please share, it's important for me

Video released by U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) reportedly shows American forces disabling two Iranian-flagged tankers in the Gulf of Oman during enforcement of the ongoing U.S. maritime blockade against Iranian ports.

According to CENTCOM, a U.S. Navy Boeing F/A-18E/F Super Hornet launched from the USS George H. W. Bush fired precision munitions into the smokestacks of two unladen Iranian-flagged tankers, disabling the vessels before they could enter an Iranian port on the Gulf of Oman.

CENTCOM stated the operation targeted vessels it described as violating the U.S. blockade currently imposed on Iranian maritime traffic. The command added that all three vessels intercepted this week — including the previously disabled tanker M/T Hasna — are “no longer transiting to Iran.”

Reports identify the two latest tankers as M/T Sea Star III and M/T Sevda. U.S. officials said the ships were not carrying cargo at the time of the strike.
