My client is currently seeking an experienced Senior Fitter to join the engine department onboard one of their cruise vessels.
This is a hands-on role involving maintenance, repair, machining and welding work within the engine room and wider ship machinery spaces. The successful candidate will work closely with the 1st Engineer and be responsible for maintaining workshop equipment, tools and consumables to a high standard.
Candidates should have previous seagoing engine room experience, strong fitting and workshop skills, and be confident working as part of a technical team onboard a passenger vessel.
