Qualifications: Minimum MEOL minimum or EOOW, STCW, ENG1 – 1 year in the industry, working on similar size vessels.

A classic 36m private motor yacht is seeking a hands-on Mate to join under a newly appointed Captain known for strong leadership and mentoring.
Requirements:
• Yachtmaster Offshore (minimum)
• Minimum 2 years’ experience on 30m+ vessels
• OOW (or actively progressing towards it) preferred
• Strong deck maintenance skills (painting, general upkeep)
• Bridge and watchkeeping experience
• Mini ISM knowledge advantageous
• Tender/PWC driving and crane operations
The role is predominantly deck-based rather than administrative. Ideal background would include Bosun on a larger yacht or Mate on a similar-sized vessel. Crew of 7. Single season Mediterranean programme.

ITALIAN SPEAKING FIRST MATE REQUIRED FOR A 29m MOTOR YACHT (PRIVATE)

Itinerary: Italy – Sicily
We are looking for a First Mate to join this 29m Ferretti Private Motor Yacht working alongside the captain for the upcoming season.
The role will involve supporting the captain with the safe operation and general running of the vessel, will also support with routine checks and help ensure smooth operations throughout the season.
Responsibilities also include cleaning, wash-down, and detailing of both exterior and interior areas, along with the ongoing maintenance and upkeep of the vessel, equipment, and onboard systems.
The yacht operates as a dayboat with a crew of two (Captain and First Mate). This is a hands-on position within a small team environment, and the successful candidate should be happy to assist with both exterior and light interior tasks as needed. The Owner cooks for himself when on board. The crew would not be expected to sleep on board at night. We would pay for accommodation nearby to where the boat is docked and we would provide a meal allowance to the crew.
