We are seeking a Permanent Deckhand/Carpenter to join a 120m+ motor yacht.
The ideal candidate must have strong carpentry skills, which include sanding, taping, varnishing, caulking, and filling. Extensive product knowledge and experience as a carpenter and deckhand are essential. You will maintain the woodwork in the exterior and interior of the vessel and do repairs as needed.
As a deckhand, your responsibilities will include day-to-day operations and general deck maintenance, assisting with tenders and toys, and assisting other departments as required. You will ensure that the exterior of the yacht is maintained to the highest standards.
The role requires a proactive and positive attitude and a team player who thrives in a large team environment. A deckhand/carpenter who can contribute effectively to the overall upkeep and smooth running of the vessel.
Runs with a crew of 40 – 50.
REQUIREMENTS FOR APPLICATION:
– STCW & ENG1
– Yacht Master is preferred
– Powerboat Level 2
– Designated Security Duties Certificate
– Security Awareness training
– Must be Covid Vaccinated
– Willingness to undergo medical screening (TB test)
– At least 2 years’ experience in a similar position is preferred
– Valid International drivers licence
– No visible tattoos
– Excellent references are needed

Superintendent HVAC Opportunity!
I am seeking a Superintendent HVAC to oversee the planning, execution, and supervision of HVAC systems on board cruise ships and/or at shipyards. The role ensures that all air conditioning, ventilation, and climate control systems are delivered, installed, tested, and maintained according to project requirements, safety standards, and international maritime regulations.
The Superintendent will review technical documentation and system layouts, conduct inspections and quality checks, and monitor compliance with class, flag, and IMO regulations. A key part of the position is troubleshooting and resolving technical issues during construction, refit, or operational phases, while also preparing progress reports for project management.
This role requires a strong technical background, proven maritime HVAC experience, and the ability to lead multicultural teams in shipyards, dry docks, and onboard vessels.
