The HSE Lead will provide HSE oversight across Integrated Drilling Services, including Directional Drilling, Drilling Fluids, and Cementing, supporting both office and field activities. The role works closely with service managers, drilling teams, and HSE advisors to ensure effective risk management, SIMOPS control, and compliance with KDC HSE standards across Kuwait and international projects.
Requirements
8–10 years’ HSE experience, primarily within oilfield service lines
Strong Integrated Services or service-company background
2–3 years’ drilling HSE experience to support SIMOPS and interface understanding preferred
NEBOSH or IOSH certificate or diploma
Fluent in English (Arabic an advantage)

This is a technical, performance driven role, not a rig or people management position.
The role
You will support drilling operations from a planning and real time performance perspective, working closely with Performance Centre leadership and field teams across the full well delivery lifecycle.
Key responsibilities
- Planning and operations drilling engineering across the full well lifecycle
- Real-time drilling performance monitoring and KPI dashboard development
- Review and validation of operator drilling programmes
- DWOP participation and Well Delivery Process support
HPHT, deepwater floater, and jack-up operations - Technical assurance, QA/QC, and MOC from standards
- Performance optimisation and application of advanced well engineering
- Support rig automation and integration of new technologies
Required background
- Senior Drilling Engineer only

- HPHT well experience
