Vacancy: Second Engineer – DP Offshore Vessel

On behalf of our client, we are currently looking for an experienced 2nd Engineer DP to join an offshore vessel.

📍 Location: SCV Khankendi
🗓 Contract Duration: 12 months (renewable)
🚢 Start Date: ASAP

Key Responsibilities

– Assist the Chief Engineer in the safe and efficient operation of the vessel’s engine room.
– Operate and monitor propulsion, power generation, and auxiliary machinery on a DP vessel.
– Supervise engine room maintenance and ensure all equipment is operating safely and efficiently.
– Coordinate preventive maintenance through the AMOS maintenance management system.
– Supervise bunkering operations and ensure proper fuel and lubricant management.
– Ensure compliance with company procedures, international maritime regulations, and HSEQ standards.
– Lead and supervise engine room personnel during assigned watchkeeping duties.
– Participate in emergency response activities and maintain all safety equipment in operational condition.

Requirements

✔ Maritime Education
✔ Minimum 3 years of experience as an Officer in Charge of an Engineering Watch (OICEW) or Second Engineer on DP vessels
✔ Minimum 1 year of offshore experience
✔ Valid STCW certificates
✔ Certificate of Competency (CoC Reg. III/2) with endorsement
✔ Dynamic Positioning (DP) Training certificate
✔ Fluency in English and Azerbaijani
✔ Strong understanding of marine propulsion systems, engine room operations, and offshore safety standards
