Ascend Energy Services is recruiting for this role on behalf of a client operating in German waters.
Location: Offshore Platform
Contract: Initial 12-month term
Rotation: 14/14 days on/off, 12-hour shifts (day/night)
Requirements:
At least 5 years’ professional experience as a Roughneck
German speaking (native speaker) preferred
Valid offshore occupational health certificate (AWMF, NOGEPA, OGUK, or OLF) plus G26.3 and G41 — Issued within the last 2 years
Valid offshore survival/training certificate (OPITO, NOGEPA, GWO, or STCW 95)
Minimum IWCF Level 2

We are currently hiring for the following positions for a leading company in Oman:
1. Chief Mechanic (CM)
2. Chief Electrician (CE)
Work Rotation: 35 days ON / 35 days OFF.
Salary : 3700 USD
The salary will be paid for both the on-duty and off-duty periods, in accordance with the agreed work rotation.
Candidate Requirements:
Must be currently working in the same position as Chief Mechanic or Chief Electrician.
Relevant onshore/Landrig experience is preferred.
Only Asian candidates are eligible for this requirement (EXCEPT PAKISTANI AND EGYPTIANS)

Job Vacancy: Conventional Driller
Location: Offshore / Nigeria
We are seeking an experienced and safety-focused Conventional Driller to join our offshore drilling operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and supervising drilling activities, ensuring safe and efficient execution of drilling programs while maintaining compliance with company policies and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
Operate and supervise conventional drilling operations in accordance with the approved drilling program.
Monitor drilling parameters and optimize drilling performance.
Ensure strict compliance with HSE policies, procedures, and permit-to-work systems.
Supervise and coordinate the activities of the drilling crew.
Inspect and maintain drilling equipment, reporting any defects or maintenance requirements.
Ensure accurate recording of drilling data, reports, and daily operational activities.
Respond effectively to well control situations and emergency procedures.
Coordinate with the Toolpusher, Rig Manager, and other departments to ensure smooth drilling operations.
Requirements
Minimum 5–10 years of experience as a Conventional Driller in offshore or land drilling operations.
Valid IWCF or IADC Well Control Certification.
Strong knowledge of drilling equipment, drilling fluids, and well control procedures.
Good leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work in a multicultural environment and under pressure.
Medically fit for offshore assignments.
Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience on conventional drilling rigs.
Valid offshore certifications such as BOSIET/FOET, OGUK Medical (or equivalent), and other relevant offshore certifications.
